Solomon's Seal Root
Solomon's Seal Root (Polygonatum multiflorum)
This herb may sound as if it heralds from an archaic realm but it actually has the power to do miracles for the modern musculoskeletal system. This lovely forest dweller is so named for the knee-like joints, or seals, that stud its gangly white roots. And did we mention the drooping pale florets that star its arching stem, inspiring the old saying, ‘Solomon’s seal, to be real, must have flowers along its keel’. Does that seal the deal?
Looking for more info? These herbs work so well that if we told you about them we couldn’t sell them to you (seriously, US laws are that crazy: we can teach or we can sell but not both!). Luckily Grandmother Google knows all.
