Red Rooibos Tea
The rooibos plant is known for surviving tough conditions. It's grown only in the Cederberg region of the western cape in South Africa. After the leaves are cut, they are fermented, which develops the red color for which rooibos is famous. It has an antioxidant called aspalathin, which is unique only to rooibos. If you haven't given it a try yet, now's your chance. Drink away! It's certified organic and fair trade.
As for the dirt on why, how, and when to use this herb, it’s up to you to hit the books / browsers and do a little sleuthing of your own. We’ll be here for you if you need a hand – or an herb – to hold.
