Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus)
Think of all the goodness that goes into a ripe raspberry and now compress this into a fluffy, green form, add a little astringency and subtract a little sweetness, and you’ve got yourself some very fine rubus idaeus. If a cup of black tea had a caffeine exorcism and then married a berry, you’d get raspberry leaf tea. Perplexed by our wild words? Mystified by metaphor? Try it for yourself and let us know how you’d describe it.
