Small batch alcohol-free carminative bitters locally made in Asheville, NC. The glycerin imparts a sweet flavor, perfect for people who cannot tolerate the taste of traditional bitters or who want to add flavor to drinks or dishes (and if it finds it's way into whipped coconut cream or coffee we won't tell!).
It’s officially pumpkin spice season!! To celebrate in herbal style, and boost digestion while we’re at it, try these most delicious fall bitters blend, reminiscent of all your favorites for this time of year. Starting with organic pumpkin, we added the usual fall spices- cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom- to help warm the body and fuel the digestive fires. Finished with a bit of liver-loving roasted dandelion root, these bitters are sure to get your digestive juices flowing, while making a welcome addition to fall beverages and foods alike.
Bitters are an age old tradition in many cultures. Often times bitter and aromatic herbs were macerated in different types of alcohol, and then enjoyed before or after meals, hence apertifs and digestivs. Bitters became a flavorful way to craft new and exciting cocktails, while also enjoying the digestive benefits of the plants and herbs the extraction contained.
Try this blend alone, mixed in sparkling water, drizzled over frozen desserts, or blended into your favorite cocktail (or mocktail!). Especially suited for use before, during, or after meals.
Contains: *pumpkin (cucurbita moschata duch. ex poiret), *cinnamon (cinnamomum burmannii), *ginger (zingiber officinale), *cardamom (elettarium cardamomum), *roasted dandelion root (taraxacum officinale), *vegetable glycerine, distilled water
