About: Inula graveolens grows in the Mediterranean area’s rocky soil and has pale green leaves and yellow flowers. 2,646 pounds of leaves and flowers are distilled in order to produce a single liter of essential oil. The potent essential oil is earthy and similar to Eucalyptus globulus, but without the minty top notes. It is used to support clear sinuses and lungs, promote a healthy immune system, and to freshen air and clean surfaces around the home. Inula should always be diluted.

Common Uses: Inula may be diffused or inhaled to support the respiratory system. Promote healthy immunity by applying diluted Inula topically or by breathing in the aroma.

Blending Recommendations: Inula essential oil is generally used for therapeutic support and not for its aroma.
