Green Rooibos Tea
The rooibos plant is known for surviving tough conditions. It's grown only in the Cederberg region of the western cape in South Africa. Green rooibos differs from red rooibos because its leaves are not fermented. Rather, they are oxidized and dried right away. It has an antioxidant called aspalathin, which is unique only to rooibos. Green rooibos is purported to have more antioxidants than red. It's also less sweet than the traditional drink.
