Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  Sorry, no personal checks, money orders, or CODs.

 

Shipping

Most orders are shipped using the USPS (United States Postal Service) and occasionally with FedEx, and originate in Philadelphia, PA or Asheville, NC. We work hard to ship orders either the same day or the next day, and we will notify you if we are unable to ship within 2 business days.  USPS orders are shipped via Priority and First Class mail.

If you need expedited shipping, please indicate your needs in the comments field and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

For all orders $75, shipping is free in the continental US.

For Alaska, Hawaii, and international locations, we collect a flat $20 at checkout and email you with a quote for the actual shipping.  If the total is more than you would like to pay, we will refund the full amount charged.

 

Returns & Refunds

If you have a question about a product, please ask us before placing your order. We gladly accept returns on unused merchandise within 14 days of purchase except for bagged herbs and teas which are non-returnable.

Please include a brief note letting us know why the item(s) are being returned. We will refund the cost of the product(s) returned. The customer is responsible for shipping charges to return the material unless an error was made on our end. If you would like to make a return on a used product or after 14 days, please contact us.

There are no refunds for classes. 

 

Sales Tax

 We collect sales tax when appropriate on all orders shipped in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

 

Ordering By Phone

Our store staff will be happy to assist you with orders that you wish to place over the phone. If we don't answer your call during business hours, it is because we are helping customers in the store! Please leave a message, and we will call back as soon as we can.  Please reach us 828-552-3334.

 

Samples & Special Orders

As all our products are pre-packaged, we are unable to offer samples. If you need something that is not in our store or that you found in our shop but is not listed online, please contact us. If we are unable to order it for you, we’d be more than happy to try to point you in the right direction.
